Our new look website was launched in January 2006, our aim is to Promote the highest standards of pastry and education with a major presence on the Internet.

We have set Higher goals to become a leader in the UK as a Pastry Association.

The function of the Association of Pastry Chefs is to encourage young people into the industry, promote Products, Share ideas and techniques, public awareness and appreciation of through our website, glaze magazine, competitions and Free Forum.

A friendly society founded in 1993 for pastry chefs, run by pastry chefs, the Association of Pastry Chefs was founded in 1993 by a small group of pastry chefs working in the London area. The purpose was to provide a network by which like-minded people could meet socially away from the pressures of the industry.


It soon became apparent that other benefits would arise from such meetings, namely learning about new ideas and new products and the exchange of recipes. The more mature members took the role educationate the younger members by giving demonstrations etc.


Membership is now growing fast with applicants from all over England and abroad.

The Association consists of Full and junior members with associate members whom supply products and services to the industry, which is controlled by a committee of around twelve members who work mainly in the London area.
We also have some honorary members the elder statesmen of our profession.
