HORSES IN CHINESE MYTHOLOGY

The Chinese view horses for sale very favorably and even consider them to be very lucky. The Chinese calendar that cycles through 12 animals and 5 elements has a special place for both female and male ponies for sale. The year 2002 was the Year of the Horse and considered very lucky.

Buddhist philosophy entrenched in Chinese society views the horse as a symbol of the human mind representing energy in its purest form devoted to the teachings of the Buddha and also a symbol of the departure of the Buddha from a life of Luxury.

The Buddha’s horse Kamthaka was the embodiment of Karma. A breed of horse called the Akhal-Teke very closely resembles the Buddha in description. This particular breed has very fine hair with a metallic sheen and horses with a golden colour (which the Buddha possessed) are particularly impressive.
