The Association's annual cook off was held once again at Nadell Patisserie in Islington.It gets said every year but the standard continues to improve year on year with some truly stunning desserts entered in this the 12th year.
Sponsored by Champagne Duval-Leroy, the challenge this year was to create a dessert to accompany their Champagne “Lady Rose” of which the competitors would as always have to prepare four portions in 2 1/2 hours. First prize included the famous Nadell Trophy, a trip to the Duval-Leroy estate in France along with a special prizes from Villeroy and Boch and champagne!. Every competitor also received the Villeroy and Boch commemorative plate, a personalised embroidered chefs jacket, and tableware from Villeroy and Boch.The association would like to thank all the sponsors who made this competition a great success and hope we can rely on them for further support inthe future.
